Great Manaagement with decades of experience in the industry. Realitively new business idea whose time has come. CARS dominates this space and may be the only company doing this (who else?) Consistent steadily increasing earnings. Conference calls are impressive. A common misconception is that their profits are tied to new cars sales - not true. Their profits are tied to dealers profits and most of the dealer's profits come from serivce, parts and used car sales. Very little comes from new cars sales. So this is a nice stock to own should the economy turn south. In bad times, folks put off new cars purchases, but still need transportation, hence larger profits for the dealers. I believe this is a good stock to own in good times as well. Very clean business model with triple net leases. A good deal of the stock is owned by dealers who realized they did not need to own the land, their energy and focus is better spent on their core business, in addition their ROI is much higher on their core business. So they turned in their land for cash to expand their business or for shares to finance their retirement or pass on to heirs. This is a nice hold for a decent income stream and a long term a buy for capital appreciation.
